Rose Quartz + Chamomile Foot Bath Recipe

Foot soak recipes to nourish your soul and soles...

This recipe is designed for the moments when you're stressed out, super anxious and just need to chill, making it the perfect foot bath to do before bed.

What You'll Need:

These are all suggestions for a purity and calm vibe, read on to find out how you can use what you already have.

- Bowl (large enough to place your feet in)

- Warm to hot water

- Chamomile, Fennel, Lemon Balm, Ashwaghanda Dried Herbs

- Pink Himalayan Salt

- Chamomile (German), Fennel and Lavender Essential Oil Blend

- Bath Oil Carrier

- Howlite, Rose Quartz, Blue Lace Agate and Amethyst Crystals

Chamomile, fennel, lemon balm and ashwaghanda herb blend

Step One: Herbs

First, fill up your bowl with your usual water temperature preference, then add your herbs. I used chamomile, fennel, lemon balm and ashwaghanda here, by decanting some organic teabags. All used for their calming, healing, anxiety soothing and stress managing properties. If you don't have these, use your intuition and raid your store cupboard and herbal tea collection. Focus on the theme of purity and calm to guide you with what herbs to use. Remember, there's no right or wrong with ingredients here, what's important is that you're taking the time to prioritise your well-being.

Pink Himalayan Salt

Step Two: Salt

Once the herbs are in the water, add some pink Himalayan salt which is great for detoxifying, improving hydration and relaxing muscles. If you don't have any to hand, you can use Epsom salts or the bottle of bath salts that have been collecting dust in your bathroom.

Chamomile, fennel and lavender essential oil blend

Step Three: Oils

Just look at that swirl! I made an essential oil blend of chamomile (German), fennel and lavender which again are all chosen for their super soothing and relaxing properties. I added a few drops of this blend to a bath oil carrier base and I always use Neal's Yard Remedies Create Your Own Bath Bath Oil for this. Please don't use undiluted essential oils in your bath. If you're not into making your own bath oil blend, then you can use a relaxing bath oil that you have or I also love using Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Bath & Shower Oil.

Howlite, Rose Quartz, Blue Lace Agate and Amethyst Crystals

Step Four: Crystals

Then you add in your crystals, as always set an intention before you start, (you can find out more about cleansing, charging and using your crystals by grabbing the Crystal 101 Cheat Sheet in my Free Resource Library.)

I set an intention for self-love, quietening my mind, getting calm, healing and peace as these are the properties of the crystals I used, which were howlite, rose quartz, blue lace agate and amethyst. Again, use your intuition and see which crystals you have that fill you with all the chill vibes or grab these on your next trip to the crystal shop

The Final Step is Always Stillness...

Now all of your ingredients are in, just add your feet and take 20 mixtures to be still. Download the restorative body scan meditation from my library, listen to music, place your hands over your heart space, read, journal. Just be. This is your time.
