Lived-In Words.

A creative practice for writing about your life, work and what you're here for.
For women who think and feel deeply and need a seasonal space for it to live outside their minds.

You have a lot happening inside you. A whole lot. You think deeply, feel deeply, and hold endless ideas, visions, and potential pivots. The way you see the world is rich. You’re creative, intellectual, emotional, connected. Multi-dimensional. In other words, a girl has range.

On a good day, you can see how brilliant you are. And other days, it feels like a bit of a burden. You’ve wanted things to be easier. When it comes to your work and interests, you wanted to be known for one thing, to have clean, clear and consistent answers to, “what do you do?” and “who are you?”

My handwritten-placard to you: You don’t need to squeeze yourself into something simple. You just need somewhere to put it all and write it in words that actually hold all of you.

We don’t need more words.
We’re surrounded by a damn deluge of them

But, they’re lifeless. Transactional. Made for the internet. Copied and pasted.

What we need is more meaningful, lived-in, a bit undone, raw, gutsy, human words. Words that have so much life crammed into them that a machine could never.

The more we live into and connect to our words, the more we feel connected to ourselves and the world we inhabit.

That’s what Lived-In Words is for.

You already have everything you need.
You’ve got the ideas, the depth, the perspective.

You know you aren’t lacking in those. In fact, you fear you’ve got too many ideas (you don’t, btw).

You’ve tried the creative practices, techniques and courses, some of them worked, some of them felt too rigid, some of them felt like yet more labour. Most of them didn’t speak to the fact that you’re a seasonal being, who might have changed ten times over by the time the course was done.

That’s why I created this.

A seasonal space. A space to return to, that lives with you and is shaped by you. A space to be in conversation with life and yourself. A space to drop things in, edit things out and move things from your mind to the page. Into words. Not just for an audience. Not just for the internet. But for you. For the art of it.

This is the practice.

What’s Inside:

  • An on-demand masterclass – the complete practice with video, audio and slide downloads

  • The Working Document and Artist Statement - a Notion template that serves as your seasonal homepage

  • Proof of Life - a printable guide to the daily practice

  • Witness. Feel. Write. Think. – a one-page writing framework to keep coming back to

  • A welcome letter to get you started

What shifts during Lived-In Words:

You start to see your multiplicity and rich inner world as the source of your brilliance and not a burden.

You release the pressure of being one static thing. The Working Document and Artist Statement gives the language and space to hold all parts of you.

Your words change. Because you’re writing from inside your life, instead of being fixated on an output.

This is for you.

If you’ve been saying that you need to get back into writing, but it never feels like the right time.

If you have a newsletter, Substack or creative project that isn’t quite coming through.

If you’re in the middle of a career transition and need a space to process what’s here and what’s next.

If you create content and write for work (or your brand) and want your words to sound more like you.

If you’ve always wanted to write about your life, but convinced yourself it wasn’t important or special enough.

And why me?

I created this because I was sick and tired of squeezing myself into courses, 6-step methods, and practices that weren’t built for the way I think, feel, create and make meaning of the world around me.

I’m an author (Take It In), speaker and writer whose writing has appeared in Vogue, Stylist, The Times, Red, ELLE and Women's Health. I've worked with nearly a thousand people worldwide in one-to-one sessions and workshops.

But more importantly than any of that, I’m a woman of depth. A multi-dimensional woman with a rich inner world. I know how heavy it can feel to have so much good stuff inside you and no dedicated practice for getting it out into the world.

Lived-in Words does that.

Your words are waiting inside you.

Lived-In Words is the practice for getting them out.
