Words in Waiting

A 90 minute one-to-one session to retrieve the words that actually sound like you.

You have a rich interior life. You think deeply, feel absolutely everything, hold endless ideas and have put in the work to truly know who you are and what you’re here to do. I know that you aren’t lacking in things to say.

But when it’s time to get it up and out of you, something gets in the way.

There are words waiting inside you. They’re brilliant ones too. And when it’s time to actually get those words out into the world, you get what I call word-freeze. It happens when you come face-to-face with the threatening blank document. The notes app with its flashing expectant cursor. The camera staring back at you. The video you keep deleting. The LinkedIn post you keep avoiding. The podcast. The Substack. The “about” page on your website. The email paying rent in your drafts. That damn Instagram-bio and one-liner that you’ve been tweaking and re-tweaking.

The words ain’t coming.

Or maybe they do, but then you panic that it doesn’t fully express what you’re trying to say. Meanwhile, “does this even make sense?” lives on repeat in your mind. You’re over it, so you ask your mates Claude and ChatGPT to write it for you (no shade and absolutely no judgement here) and you realise that you sound like everyone else on the internet. It’s lacking a bit of character, and well, a bit of you. But, what really crushes me? Sometimes you call it quits and never launch, do, say or write the thing.

There’s nothing wrong with your words and don’t even think about saying, “I’m not good at it”. It’s a side-effect of living in a digital age that’s normalised disconnection. To work with that, we need to reconnect to ourselves and the world around us, to retrieve the words that are waiting inside all of us.

I create the time, space and process to do that, so you can leave knowing exactly how to articulate what you do, why you do it and who it’s for. In words that can only come from you.

“Working with Giselle was truly so pivotal for me.

Since then, I've been genuinely giddy by this new world of words! I've been able to rewrite my website and make a start writing much more clearly and confidently about my bigger perspectives in my email marketing. And I am about to launch a new offering that emerged through our work.”

Let me tell you more.

90 minute one-to-one session online via Zoom
I hold a few sessions each month in person (London, UK) get in touch if you’d like to discuss this option.

“Before working with Giselle, I had so many threads that I wasn't entirely sure how they fit together and what story I was telling. Giselle helped me to pull everything together into an overall narrative, in which all the stories I was trying to tell felt so at home. I couldn't quite believe the trails of thought, scribbles and ideas had come together in such a beautiful and coherent way.”

“How can I put into words how beneficial and eye-opening working with Giselle was? Giselle’s creativity and openness is inspiring and her work is so intuitive. She is confident in her thoughts, insights and ideas and allows you to take and use them in a way that fits. Giselle understands founder life and maps all of her concepts out so clearly.”
